New Manchester United signing Shinji Kagawa has said that the South Korean midfielder Park Ji sung is his inspiration. The South Korean midfielder Park Ji sung recently completed his move away from Old Trafford, thus bringing his seven year spell with the club to an end. He has joined the Premier league rivals QPR for a fee of around £ 2 million, which could rise up to £ 5 million. Even though many predicted that Park Ji sung was being signed by Manchester United only to sell shirts in Asia, the 31-year-old has grown in stature under the guidance of Alex Ferguson.

He has become the first Asian player to play in the Champions League final. He has achieved numerous personal accolades during his seven years at Manchester United, while he has also lifted many major trophies. Due to his incredible work rate and quality, Sir Alex Ferguson often selects Park Ji sung as the first name on the team sheet for the big matches. The Borussia Dortmund midfielder Shinji Kagawa has arrived for a transfer fee of £ 12 million, which could rise to up to £ 17 million. Like me, Ji-Sung received a lot of support from fans, so I think he should also help the K-League,” Ahn said. Park Ji sung’s last match in South Korea was way back in 2003. He is all set to be replaced by Borussia Dortmund’s Japanese player Kagawa.
