With Liverpool crowned champions of England –holding titles simultaneously in Europe and the world–, the Premier League is now entering the business side of the current season. While Liverpool’s fate is sealed, the rest of others will go down to the wire.


European places and most interestingly the relegation battle. The bottom half is tense and the fight to avoid the drop will go down to the last day. Aside Norwich City, who have been condemned to be relegated. All other sides from 15 to 19 still have a chance. Aston Villa, Brighton, Watford, West Ham are all in the mix.

Park Ji-sung, South Korean professional footballer was one of the most underrated players to play in the jersey of Manchester United. Born in Goheung, Park is one of the greatest footballers of Asia and surely the best player from South Korea till now. Before diving into why he is the most underrated player of Manchester United, you must be aware of his career stats. Manchester United’s midfielder had scored 19 goals in 134 matches for his club.


Park Ji sung also appeared in 100 matches for his national team and scored 13 goals. Despite these number games, there are many worth mentioning aspects of the unsung hero of Manchester United. As a football fan, there are very limited things to crave for. They don’t want too much from players except for their strong desire and commitment to the game. As a fan, you only count the effort put in by the player, keeping aside the results. Win, lose or draw doesn’t matter as long as the players are ready to perform exceeding their abilities.

United Needs a Park Ji-sung Now

Things are not working well for Manchester United. They are in the 10th position in the league table after playing seven games. They are struggling to regain their dominance in the Premier League. It seems that they need a better team, or at least a better winger to roll things ahead. Maybe they need a Park Ji-sung.

The South Korean midfielder was a big match player for United. He played for the club for 7 years and he is the most decorated football player in Asia with 19 trophies. However, trophies apart he is better known for his contribution to the big games, on bigger stages. (more…)

MANCHESTER UNITED INTERESTED IN ENGLISH ACE

United have increased their interest in Newcastle midfielder Sean Longstaff in a bid to complete a transfer to Old Trafford this season. It is understood that the Red Devils have already sent a bid of £15 million for the player which was rejected by the club.

The Magpies have been hit with negative headlines this week after the exit of Rafa Benitez last week. It is understood that Sean Longstaff is weighing his options. The midfielder is considered as an important player by Newcastle who wanted to keep him.

MANCHESTER UNITED IN £30 MILLION MOVES FOR TEENAGE SENSATION

Manchester United have enjoyed a good spell of recent under interim manager Ole Gunnar Solksjaer.  The Red Devils are currently in the mix for the top four and have a quarterfinal UEFA Champions League tie to look forward to in April.

North Korea Qualify for Asian Cup 2019 with win over Hong Kong

North Korea were able to reach the Asian cup 2019 for a third consecutive occasion after managing to overcome Hong Kong 2-0 in the latest match. North Korea have been quite successful when it comes to reaching the Asian Cup finals and they have been able to keep the tradition going due to the win over Hong Kong. Jong Il-Gwan came up with the first goal after just 20 minutes.

North Korea could not imagined a better start since Pak Kwang-Ryong doubled the advantage after four minutes. This provided North Korea with a huge advantage going into the break and they managed to prevent any kind of a comeback from the away team.

This happens to be the first win for North Korea in four competitive matches. It also comes at a crucial time for manager Jorn Andersen, who will be leaving his role as the national team manager. He has been in charge of the team since 2016.

This is a great sendoff for the Norwegian. North Korea will be hoping to improve on the performances under the Norwegian under any new manager. Apart from witnessing a regular stream of success for North Korea in the Asian Cup, fans also get to witness Philippines and Yemen reaching the tournament for the first time. Philippines were able to get a win over Tajikistan, while Yemen put being the concerns about the disappointing spell for the last few months. Yemen were able to claim a crucial 2-1 win over Nepal.

Abdulwasea Al Matari had provided an early lead for Yemen, but the hopes of qualification were dashed when Shrestha equalised just before half-time. However, Yemen had the last laugh in the game asAbdulwasea Al Matari provided a late winner to help secure three points for the team. North Korea do not have any matches lined up as of now.
